LEXINGTON, Mich. (AP) - A waterspout was spotted on Lake Huron near Lexington as storms moved through the area.

The Times Herald of Port Huron says no damage or injuries were reported following Wednesday's waterspout near Lexington, about 70 miles northeast of Detroit.

Lexington Fire Chief Mike Sharon says there were several reports that came in about the waterspout. He says there was no evidence it moved onto land.

Also Wednesday, the National Weather Service says a weak tornado touched down in southeastern Michigan, causing minor property damage. The weather service says the funnel cloud hit the ground in Monroe County, about a mile northeast of Temperance.
