ITHACA, Mich. (AP) - Authorities in mid-Michigan say they've discovered a gasoline leak that's apparently coming from an underground storage tank at a gas station.
A public works crew in Ithaca on Monday detected gasoline in a sewer manhole and called authorities. City officials are asking anyone smelling gasoline in homes or businesses to get outside and call 911.
There have been no reports of anyone sickened by the leak in Ithaca, about 40 miles north of Lansing.
The city says it's been told that monitoring wells near the tanks show no additional leaks. The city plans tests in area basements as a precaution.
