SAGINAW, MI (WNEM) -

State police pulled over former Lions player and Saginaw native, Charles Rogers. Michigan State Police say the traffic stop happened near the intersection of Dearborn and Fayette in Saginaw.

Police found some sort of open alcohol container. A trooper made the stop early Saturday morning at 12:45 a.m.

A post commander tells TV5 they are seeking warrants. It will be up to the prosecutor to determine possible charges.

Rogers was not detained and police released him. This is not his first run in with the law.
