IOSCO COUNTY, MI (WNEM) -
Michigan State Troopers from the police post in East Tawas are investigating a breaking and entering complaint that occurred at the Sportsman's Bar in Whittemore.
The bar owner told authorities that someone had entered the building after closing sometime overnight between Dec. 27 and 28.
Troopers said about $1,300 in cash was taken, as well as a Dell laptop, several cases of Busch Light and Bud Light beer and new security cameras still in their boxes.
Police said a thief helped him or herself to food in the bar's kitchen as items used in the making of pizza were strewn about.
Evidence was collected from the scene and is currently being examined by the State Police Crime Lab in Bridgeport.
Iosco Crime Stoppers said they'll pay up to $1,000 for information leading to the person or persons responsible for the burglary.
State Police are asking for anyone with info on the break-in to contact them at 989-345-0956.
