Authorities searching for missing person

CLIO, MI (WNEM) -

The Genesee County Sheriff's Department is searching for an 86-year-old man from Clio who was last seen on Wednesday, Jan. 11.

The family of Frederick MacKenzie Harding says they typically have daily contact with him, but haven't heard or seen him since last week.

Harding drives a 2002 silver Dodge Caravan with the license plate 3KJY07.

Authorities say Harding left home without his medication and that he has a pace maker after suffering from heart problems. Police also say he has displayed the early stages of dementia.

Harding is described as standing 5'7" and weighing about 165 pounds. He has black hair, brown eyes and wears glasses. Anyone with information on his whereabouts is asked to contact the sheriff's office at 810-257-3422.
