DETROIT (AP) - Police say one person has been taken into custody after officers found a large stash of marijuana in a warehouse on Detroit's east side.
The Detroit Police Department says in a news release that about 800 plants were seized. A 37-year-old man was taken into custody.
Sgt. Eren Stephens says the plants were removed Thursday after Detroit police received a tip on where they could be found.
Officers found a marijuana-growing operation inside the building. They boxed the plants and hauled them down to police headquarters.
Stephens says the seizure is part of an ongoing investigation.
