Flight from Las Vegas skids at Detroit airport

ROMULUS, Mich. (AP) - A Delta Air Lines flight from Las Vegas apparently skidded off a runway as it was taxiing at Detroit Metropolitan Airport after landing.

The Detroit Free Press says no injuries were reported after the nose wheel of Flight 753 carrying 160 passengers left the pavement Sunday afternoon. Area conditions were icy at the time following snowfall.

Delta spokeswoman Kristin Baur says the plane was towed to a terminal at the airport in Romulus so passengers could remain aboard.

Baur says there was no apparent damage to the airplane.
