Man, 53, struck, killed while walking in Bay County

BAY COUNTY, MI (WNEM) -

A Pinconning man is dead after he was struck by a vehicle while walking on a Bay County roadway.

It happened just before 7 p.m. Thursday on Huron Road between Wetters and Parish in Kawkawlin Township.

Michigan State Police say Randall Pierson, 53, was struck by a SUV driven by a 21-year-old woman. Troopers say weather was not a factor in the incident.

The investigation continues.
