WNEM TV 5 Uptown Reinvestment to purchase Flint Journal buildings

Uptown Reinvestment Corporation (URC) has made an agreement to purchase two properties owned by the Flint Journal.

The properties are located on E. First Street in downtown Flint. The buildings make up nearly 2,000 square feet and over five acres of land. URC plans to renovate them and rent them out to other organizations.

One idea is to use them as part of the Michigan State University expanded campus for medicine. But that possible collaboration is still in the planning stages.
