Bridal show to benefit local charities

FLINT, MI (WNEM) -

Brides and grooms are invited to a bridal show on Feb. 19 from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. at The Luxurious Riverfront Banquet Center in Flint.

Professionals at "The New Look of Bridal" show will be on hand to assist brides and grooms in planning intimate to elaborate weddings.

Attendees can win prizes both online and through door prize drawings.

The expo will feature two fashion shows from Expressions in Silk Bridal, an exquisite catering display from Epoch Catering, workshops on bridal etiquette from Grace and Charm CEO Walethia Aquillive, live entertainment and a "Groom Room."

A portion of ticket sales will be donated to two non-profits - Empower and My Dreams Do Come True.

The organizations provide mentoring to young women by providing essential life tools needed for personal, educational and professional excellence.
