22-year-old man killed in single car rollover crash

TUSCOLA COUNTY, MI (WNEM) -

Sheriff Lee Teschendorf reports that Tuscola County Sheriff Deputies investigated a one-car crash on Buell Road near Millington Road in Arbela Township.

The call came in around 2:30 a.m. when a passerby saw a vehicle overturned in a water-filled ditch.

The Millington-Arbela Fire Department and MMR ambulance also responded. Rescuers discovered one person in the vehicle. A 22-year-old man from the Vassar area was found inside the vehicle.

The deputies found that the vehicle had been northbound on Buell Road and gradually left the roadway, struck a mailbox and then went into the ditch and rolled over.

An autopsy is scheduled for Saturday to determine exact cause of death. The man's name is being withheld until all family has been contacted.
