Mitt Romney's wife, Ann, made an appearance in Genesee County today, talking to a group of Republican supporters at the AmericInn Hotel in Mundy Township.

Ann Romney arrived at Friday's event in her big campaign bus. When she campaigned with her husband four years ago, she was disappointed when he lost, telling Mitt she didn't want to campaign again.

But now she's back on the campaign trail. She told WNEM TV-5 her husband can turn the country around, much like Gov. Rick Snyder has turned around the Michigan economy.

"Governor Snyder is fixing it! Guess what, he's a business guy and he understands the bottom line, he understands how to create jobs, he understands how to cut budgets," Romney said.

Romney says because she and her husband are Michiganders, they are getting his message to voters here across the board.

"We know that we have the right message and that the people are going to be able to say I believe in this guy, and lets watch him get it done," she said.

Folks at today's function agree. Genesee County Republican Party Chairwoman Prudy Adam said,  "He's fiscally conservative, he's ethically conservative and those are the qualities I look for in a President."

Ken Jordan is a Genesee County Republican. He said, "He's a businessman, and what we need is jobs, and I think he could bring that to Michigan."

The Michigan presidential primary is Feb. 28.
