Not the actual mask used in the robbery.
ISABELLA COUNTY, MI (WNEM) -
Michigan State Police troopers were called to a gas station on Sunday night on the report of an armed robbery.
Troopers arrived at the Marion Shell Gas Station in Marion, MI, and learned from employees that a white male wearing a white plastic hockey mask (with black tear drops drawn on sides of eye holes) entered the store, produced a large and shiny knife and demanded money and cigarettes.
Police said the store clerk then gave the thief money from the store till and safe, as well as 12 cartons of cigarettes. The thief was seen exiting the store and running to the west down Main Street by an eyewitness who was standing outside of the Marion Shell. Authorities said it appears that the suspect ran to a vehicle and left the scene.
Troopers say the suspect was described as a white male, standing approximately 5' to 5' 5" tall. The suspect was dressed in a black or dark jacket and was wearing blue jeans.
Anyone with information regarding the incident or suspect is encouraged to contact troopers at the Mt. Pleasant Post at 989-773-5951.
