A teenager could still face charges stemming from a stabbing incident Monday night in Saginaw.
TV5's Brian Wood was in court on Tuesday when the prosecutor's office declined to file charges against the 16-year-old girl, saying the stabbing was in self-defense. However, the prosecutor is expected to meet with police Wednesday and could still file criminal charges against the juvenile.

Rogelio Joseph Garza Jr., 34, was found with critical injuries inside a home in the 2300 block of State Street on Monday night.
Police have released few details surrounding the confrontation.
Garza later died at a local hospital, and police arrested the teenager.
According to Saginaw County Circuit Court criminal records, Garza had several run-ins with the law stretching back to a 1994 case when he was charged for carrying a concealed weapon. More recent records show arrests for domestic violence and guilty pleas for assault, resisting arrest and carrying a concealed weapon.
In 2002 and 2003, personal protection orders were filed by a family member against Garza.
