SAGINAW, MI (WNEM) -

The Michigan Department of Transportation will hold a public meeting March 1 with the topic being roadwork on the I-75 Business Loop in Ogemaw County.

The meeting will be from 2 to 4 p.m. for businesses and from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. for the general public at the Ogemaw Township Hall, located at 1990 Gray Rd. in West Branch.

MDOT is planning to reconstruct approximately four miles of the I-75 BL in West Branch, from I-75 (Exit 212) to Woodland Avenue and from Gray Road to Husted Road, and resurface the I-75 BL from Woodland Avenue to M-55 and from Gray Road to Husted Road in Ogemaw County. The project involves flag control and a one-week detour in April.

This open house will allow residents and business owners an opportunity to talk one-on-one with MDOT officials prior to construction.

For special accommodations you can call 888-304-6368.
