MIDLAND COUNTY, MI (WNEM) -
Free online income tax preparation and e-filing assistance are available to millions of lower and moderate-income individuals and families across Michigan through the IRS and Michigan Free File programs.
Rep. Dave Camp, chair of the House Ways and Means Committee, and community leaders hosted "Free File" – a partnership between the government and private tax software companies.
Residents learned about the services available to eligible Midland taxpayers.
The event kicked off Wednesday morning at the Midland Community Center on Jefferson Avenue.
