SANDUSKY, Mich. (AP) - A Michigan woman is facing misdemeanor charges after authorities say they reviewed a YouTube video that showed her forcing her 2-year-old son to eat.

The 21-year-old woman from St. Clair County's Kimball Township, near Port Huron, was arraigned Tuesday in Sanilac County 73rd District Court in Sandusky. She's charged with fourth-degree child abuse and domestic violence.

The court said Wednesday that she didn't have a lawyer on record. She's due back in court March 12.

Sheriff Garry Biniecki told the Times Herald of Port Huron the video was recorded around Christmas at a home in Sanilac County's Bridgehampton Township. He says the video shows her forcing the boy to eat.

Biniecki says authorities found out about the video in January after an inquiry from a Detroit-area news agency.
