FLINT, MI (WNEM) -
A man accused of killing a 6-year-old boy now has a court date.
A judge in Flint allowed Davontrae Benton to withdraw his "no contest" plea yesterday.
Police say Benton fired a shot into a car where Jonaries Holden was riding in the back seat.
The shooting took place in November 2010.
Prosecutors say it stemmed from a dispute over $60 with the boy's father.
Benton faces open murder and felony firearm charges when he returns to court in March.
