Township police ask for help tracking down missing person

FLINT TOWNSHIP, MI (WNEM) -

The Flint Township Police Department is asking for help in locating a missing person.

Eric Robert Stroup, 44, was last seen around 7 a.m. on Feb. 16 in the area of Lennon and Miller roads when he left an adult foster care home.

He is described as a white male, standing 6'2" and weighing 175 pounds with blue eyes and brown hair. At the time of his disappearance, he was wearing blue jeans and a red & white Kansas City Chief's jacket.

Police say he could be riding a dark blue 10-speed bicycle. Stroup is known to frequent the Kettering University and the Mott Park areas. Authorities say Stroup has been diagnosed as a paranoid schizophrenic and is delusional.
