#43 F, Sophomore, UNLV Rebels

Coming out of high school as an All-American, Mike Moser had high expectations for his collegiate career.

He enrolled at one of the most prestigious programs in the country in UCLA, but he averaged little more than four minutes a game on the court. So in 2010, Moser transferred to UNLV.

After a subpar (and scandal-filled) season for his former squad, they may be having second thoughts about letting him leave.

While UCLA flailed, Moser thrived with the Rebels, averaging 14.1 points, 10.6 rebounds and 1.8 steals a game. His play earned him a spot on the All-Mountain West Conference first team.

The 6'8" forward has the abilities NBA teams look for in a modern-day big man: He leads the fast break, creates his own shot, passes the ball well and shoots effectively from the perimeter.

Also, his mixture of length and quickness allows him to guard nearly anyone on an opposing team.

It's a style that fits in well with the "Runnin' Rebel" formula. The team ranks third among NCAA teams in assists per game and are in the top 25 in scoring.

Moser's standout performance in November against North Carolina (16 points, 18 rebounds, six assists) helped secure the team a spot in the top 25 they have maintained throughout the season.

He will need to put up similar work for UNLV to make a long run in the tournament.
