It happened at a home in the 5000 block of South Garfield Road in Williams Township at about 6:30 p.m. Tuesday.
Bay County Sheriff's deputies say the wife called 911 from the couple's basement after an argument. She told the dispatcher that her husband was "highly intoxicated."
