High school student injured in 6-story fall at MSU

EAST LANSING, Mich. (AP) - Authorities say a high school student was seriously injured after accidentally falling from a sixth-floor window at a Michigan State University dorm.

Campus police say the 18-year-old from Ann Arbor fell from a window of North Case Hall on the East Lansing campus about 3 a.m. Sunday. She was taken to Sparrow Hospital for treatment.

A statement from police didn't list her name. Police say the accident is under investigation and they found no indications of suspicious activity.

WILX-TV reports the young woman fell after tripping near a window while several people were playing a game of catch in a dorm lounge and broke through the glass.
