SAGINAW, MI (WNEM) -

No one's happy about gas prices these days, but WNEM has found a business that claims to help people who are sick of the roller coaster prices.

The company is called MyGallons.com. They claim to offer a service where consumers can buy gas and stockpile it at today's prices and lock in the current price, protecting them from any future price increases.

CEO Steven Verona claims it's simple.

He says you buy gas from the company at a state average, pay for it then and when gas prices go higher, redeem those gallons for the price you locked in at.

"As long as you believe the price of gas is going to rise in the future, MyGallon offers you the chance to save that money and protect yourself," Verona said.

The company has about 10,000 customers nationwide. Verona says he looks forward to more people taking advantage of what his business can do for them as they deal with high gas prices.

"Until such time as the government ever decides to put price controls in and regulate it, which in my opinion is what really needs to be done. Until the government steps up and does that, we offer the best solution available for the average person," Verona said.
