- I-475, Genesee County (April 16 - late July): $2 million bridge repair project. Daytime single-lane closures and nighttime double-lane closures under the following local bridges:

            - Third Street over I-475; the Third Street bridge will be closed and traffic detoured          (April 16 - late April).

            - Kearsley Street over I-475; work begins after Third Street bridge complete (late April).

            - Eastbound Robert T. Longway Boulevard over I-475; one lane open at all times (begins 

            April 16).

            - Westbound Robert T. Longway Boulevard (begins late April).

- M-24, Lapeer County, $3 million bridge replacement work at the following locations:

            - Bridge over an abandoned railroad just north of Lapeer (April 30 - late October); two-

            way traffic maintained under flag control

            - Bridge over Plum Creek (May - late October); traffic maintained under temporary


- M-53, Lapeer County (April 23 - mid-September): two lanes shifted to the east side of the roadway at Hough Road for intersection improvements. Work on this $374,000 project includes widening the roadway, improving drainage, and adding a center left-turn lane. Expect intermittent nighttime lane closures under flag control.

-  M-54 in Flint, Genesee County (April 16 - late July): single-lane closures from south of Atherton Road to north of Lippincott Boulevard and over Thread Creek, alternating in one direction at a time. This $789,000 project includes bridge rail upgrades and safety improvements, along with sidewalk and ramp upgrades compliant with the Americans with Disabilities Act.
