3 injured when driver runs flashing red light

SAGINAW TOWNSHIP, MI (WNEM) -

Police say three people were injured following an early morning traffic crash in Saginaw Township.

It happened just before 6:30 a.m. at the intersection of Weiss and Wieneke.

Police say an SUV driven by a woman in her 20s was traveling eastbound on Weiss when it ran a flashing red light. It collided with a vehicle traveling northbound on Wieneke.

Both drivers and a male passenger in the SUV were taken to local hospitals. Their conditions have not been released.
