Keep an eye on intersections if you're hitting the road this Memorial Day weekend.
A new study warns more people run red lights during that weekend than any other one.
According to the National Coalition for Safer Roads, more than 2-point-3 million drivers in 18 states ran a red light last year.
The violations were more than 27-percent higher on Memorial Day weekend.
Experts say the reason is drivers may be anxious to get to their holiday destinations.
The report also found more red-light violations happened on Friday than any other day of the week.
