Student accused of trying to poison teacher with eye drops

MONTROSE, MI -

A local student is in some serious trouble after being accused of trying to poison a teacher with eye drops.

The incident happened Thursday at Montrose High School.

A source at the school told TV5 the student tried slipping the eye drops in a drink, but the teacher did not drink it.

The incident is under investigation and that student could face criminal charges.

This story comes just a day after TV5 learned a student at the Saginaw Arts and Sciences Academy put a "bodily fluid" into a bottle of mouthwash as a senior prank.
