CLARE COUNTY, MI (WNEM) -
The Clare County Sheriff's Department is investigating a motorcycle crash over the weekend that killed a 63-year-old man.
It happened Saturday afternoon on Old State Avenue near Ziggy in Surrey Township.
Authorities say it appears the motorcycle left the roadway.
Published reports identified the man as Ralph Smith, of Lansing.
Deputies say a silver van left the accident scene, but it is not known if the van was actually involved in the crash.
