Man on bicycle dies after being hit by vehicle

SHIAWASSEE COUNTY, MI (WNEM) -

Authorities in Shiawassee County say a 24-year-old bicyclist has died following injuries he sustained when he was struck by a car.

It happened in Perry Township just after 9:30 p.m. Monday on Bath Road near Beardslee Road.

The sheriff's office said the victim is from the Perry area.

The driver of the car has been identified as an 18-year-old man from the Perry area.

Names of those involved weren't immediately released.
