Church leaders from all over Michigan came together to address the issue of violence happening in Saginaw.
The Church of Saginaw held a prayer vigil at the Dow Event Center Friday night.
The event comes on the heels of two shootings this week that involved children.
A 12-year-old boy was shot and killed early Thursday morning.
Tamaris Steward was shot in the chest after someone fired shots into his grandfather's home.
On Monday, a 4-year-old girl was shot in the arm while riding in a car on the city's south eastside.
Organizers say close to 1,000 people attended the vigil.
