SAGINAW, MI (WNEM) -
Police in Saginaw are on the scene of a shooting on the city's northeast side.
TV5 received a tip around 5:40 p.m. that a person had been shot several times on Casimir Street near Needham Street. Police are currently securing the scene.
TV5 is told that person has already been taken to the hospital. There's no word on the extent of their injuries or if anyone has been taken into custody in connection to the shooting.
About an hour after we heard about the Casimir shooting, TV5 learned of a triple shooting at North Washington and N. Fifth, near the Sixth Street bridge.
More than a dozen people have been shot - some of them fatally - in and around the city in the last 20 days.
