"Back to the Bricks" kicked off their third annual promotional tour with around 125 cars heading out for a cruise of the state to raise awareness for the event.
The cars have only been cruising the state with the tour for the past three years while the "Back to the Bricks" event is preparing for its eighth year of fun and festivities in downtown Flint.
The tour began in Flint, traveled to Durand to show off the rides, and will end tonight in Mt. Pleasant with a downtown car show.
The tour is called the "Heart of Michigan" tour since the cruise is taking its route through the middle of the mitten, from top to bottom.
Every stop on the way has events planned by the local villages and towns, not only so they can shine, but so "Back to the Bricks" can spread the word about their festival.
"Back to the Bricks" takes place August 14th - 18th on the bricks in downtown Flint.
The event brings hundreds of thousands of people to town over the five day festival, so if you love cars, old and new alike, you won't want to miss it.
