Flint starts 'master planning' with help from residents

Updated:
FLINT, MI (WNEM) -

Flint city leaders held an open house Tuesday to ask for community input on their new master plan.

It is a 20-year plan, the blueprint for the direction the city wants to take. It will affect zoning, new construction, green space and pretty much everything involving the city of Flint.

It could be three years before the plan is finished, but city leaders call this your chance to make a huge difference in the future of Flint.

Interested members of the Flint community will have the chance to attend monthly steering committee meetings.
