SAGINAW, MI (WNEM) -
The Saginaw Railway Museum will be open this Saturday from 1 to 4 p.m. in conjunction with the Great Lakes Bay Train Exhibition being held at the Saginaw Art Museum.
Admission to the Saginaw Railway Museum event is free (there may be a charge to get into the Art Museum), but donations are asked. Anyone who makes a $20 donation to the museum will receive a one-year individual membership.
Displays include two locomotives, one of which operational, an extensive railroad-themed library, "then and now" photos of railroading around Saginaw and a large model railroad layout.
Museum officials encourage everyone in Saginaw to come and take a look at what (retired) Mayor Nickleberry called "Saginaw's best kept secret."
