U.S. Senator Debbie Stabenow in Burton

BURTON, MI (WNEM) -

Agricultural Chairwoman and U.S. Senator Debbie Stabenow is in Burton on Friday, highlighting new opportunities to boost Michigan's bio-based manufacturing industry.

She will be joined by U.S. Department of Agriculture Under Secretary for Rural Development, Dallas Tonsager at Landaal Packaging Systems in Burton at 2:30 p.m.

Landaal Packaging Systems is a bio-based manufacturer and recently announced plans to open a packaging innovation center in downtown Flint.

Landaal Packaging Systems is located at 3256 Iron St. in Burton.
