BURTON, MI (WNEM) -
A multi-car crash involving a police vehicle resulted in the hospitalization of at least one person over the weekend.
The Flint Journal reports five vehicles were involved in the crash and that it shut down northbound Center and eastbound Bristol roads Sunday night around 5:30 p.m. in Burton.
TV5 spoke with a man who says his sister and niece were involved in the crash.
"The police officer was driving down the road, they're saying with his lights on and siren going, and the other person here going north evidently crossing the intersection did not see or hear the vehicle coming," said Robert Gullett Jr. "It spun the police vehicle out and [it] ricocheted off of other vehicles and [it] was a domino effect."
Gullett says his niece was shaken up and that his sister was sent to the hospital to get an MRI as a precaution.
