SAGINAW, MI (WNEM) -
Good news -- AAA Michigan says gasoline prices fell about 21 cents during the past week to a statewide average of $3.55 per gallon. Better news -- it's substantially cheaper than that in the Tri-Cities and Flint.
The auto club said Monday the average is about 5 cents per gallon less than last year at this time.
Using GasBuddy.com, the lowest price available was at either Sam's Club on Corunna Road, Kroger on Richfield Road or Sunoco on Dort Highway – all had a price of $3.09 per gallon posted. The highest average is in the Marquette area at $3.64.

Meanwhile, crude oil futures prices ended lower on the New York Mercantile Exchange. The near-month contract for the benchmark grade fell 55 cents -- closing at $79.21 a barrel on Monday.
