Local woman killed in motorcycle crash

FLINT, MI (WNEM) -

A local humane society chapter is mourning the loss of one of it's members.

Tara Sturgis, 28, died in a motorcycle crash over the weekend.

Sturgis was the face of the Humane Society of Genesee County.

She was a passenger on a motorcycle her husband was operating.

The circumstances surrounding the crash are not clear at this time.

Donations can be made at the Humane Society of Genesee County.
