SAGINAW, MI (WNEM) -
TV5 has learned the City Rescue Mission of Saginaw has issued a plea for further food and cash assistance from residents.
Marcia Reeves, with the organization, said money and food donations have been coming in since an initial call to action last week, but the mission is going through food quickly. Reeves said they are still in serious need of canned food, vegetables, pasta, milk, and hot and cold cereals.
Donations can be dropped off at the mission during the day, where it is located at the corner of Genesee Ave. and Burt Street in Saginaw.
