MIDLAND COUNTY, MI (WNEM) -
A Midland County woman told TV5 her calls to authorities went unheard, so she grabbed a cellphone and recorded video of her neighbor's dogs, which she said have been neglected.
Amanda Sian told TV5 that she and her boyfriend took the video Wednesday night. The home is located in the 4000 block of Midland-Bay County Line Road.

In the video, Sian's boyfriend said that they have tried calling authorities to report the animal's conditions, but their concerns fell on deaf ears.
But Thursday, Midland County's animal control responded and have taken a look at the situation. WNEM TV5's Liz Gelardi is working the story and has reported that Animal Control officers have investigated the allegations against the dog's owner.
Animal Control said the owner was not in violation of any animal cruelty laws. Control said the dog with the rear-leg problems has hip-dysplasia and my need to be euthanized.
