It's been four months since a 2-foot-wide sinkhole formed in a Flint-area family's yard after a pipe collapsed underground.
The hole now is 5 feet wide and 8 feet deep, and Dana Voss wants something done about it.
The drain is owned by the county, but besides filling it and fencing it off, the 32-year-old Voss says nothing has been done by Genesee County Drain Commission officials.
The Flint Journal reports Friday (http://bit.ly/MpZ28K) the sinkhole is only about 5 feet away from Voss' Grand Blanc Township house.
County Drain Commissioner Jeff Wright says the project has been delayed because of budget constraints.
In the meantime, Wright says the situation has been "totally stabilized." The hole was filled with rocks, and a safety barrier was put around it.
