Man, 19, critically injured in pedestrian crash

GENESEE COUNTY, MI (WNEM) -

The Flint Township Police department responded to a vehicle-pedestrian crash Tuesday night that left a 19-year-old man critically injured.

Police said the man, whom they did not identify except to say he is from Flint, was struck by a motor vehicle on Corunna Road near Huron Street in Flint Township.

He was taken to an area hospital where he remains in critical condition. The driver of the vehicle was not injured.

Investigators said alcohol does not appear to be a factor in the crash and the exact cause remains under investigation.

Any witnesses to the incident are asked to call the township police department at 810-600-3250.
