SAGINAW COUNTY, MI (WNEM) -

Authorities have notified WNEM TV5 that 77-year-old Max Milholin was located by searchers on Friday morning.

Milholin had been missing for about 24 hours after walking away from a residence in the 17000 block of Colvin Road near St. Charles in Saginaw County.

A witness at the scene said Milholin was being loaded into an MMR ambulance after spending the night in a corn field not far from his home.

A large search was organized Thursday afternoon for him, including two helicopters, Saginaw County Sheriff's deputies and Michigan State Police troopers.

TV5 spoke exclusively with the person who found Milholin -- watch the video above to see our interview with the rescuer.
