Say goodbye to the Saginaw Plaza Hotel in downtown Saginaw – forever.
On Monday, crews began demolition on the 170-room hotel across the street from The Dow Event Center.
The former Saginaw Plaza Hotel, 310 Johnson, is now owned by the Saginaw County LandBank. The empty space will eventually be converted into a parking lot.
The Saginaw Centre, next door to the former Saginaw Plaza Hotel, will be demolished as well.
