SAGINAW COUNTY, MI (WNEM) -

Those pesky mosquitoes are forming in discarded tires left out in the elements.

And all this week, the Saginaw County Mosquito Abatement Commission is conducting a tire drive to get rid of those old tires and the insect friends living inside them.

Monday's drive will be held at Freeland High School from 1 p.m. until 7:30 p.m.

On Tuesday, a drive will take place at the Spaulding Township Park at 5825 Cole.

Wednesday's drive will be at the Marion Springs Ball Park at the corner of Merrill and Marion in Marion Township.

Thursday's drive will be at the Taymouth Township Hall at 4343 E. Birch Run Road and Friday's event is at the Thomas Township Hall at 8215 Shields Drive. All events run from 1 p.m. until 7:30 p.m.
