MOUNT PLEASANT, MI (WNEM) -
A death threat has one local college on high alert.
Right now authorities at Central Michigan University are investigating a threat made against a student.
Police say a Fabiano Hall student received the threat via phone from down state Monday morning.
Since then, CMU police have moved the student out of the area.
Law enforcement officials are now monitoring the area and working with the student to find the person or people behind the threat.
At this time, there's been no indication that whoever made the threat will come onto campus.
But if you notice anyone suspicious on the campus, you're asked to call 911 immediately.
Investigators would not comment further on other specifics about the threat.
