MIDLAND, MI (WNEM) -
You're invited to meet the new four-legged member of the Midland Police Department.
Midland Police want to introduce you to their first-ever canine unit during an open house.
It's happening Thursday from noon to 1 p.m.
The 2-year-old German shepherd will be at the Midland Law Enforcement Center.
The dog has been trained in narcotics detection and will help out with D.A.R.E. and other school and community related programs.
