Bay City landmark to be demolished

BAY CITY, MI (WNEM) -

A 145-year-old local fixture in downtown Bay City will soon be coming down.

The owner of the abandoned Mill End building said it will be torn down this fall.

According to the Bay City Times, the state approved the demolition project.

The property will be turned into a multi-story space for retail and upscale rental units.
