Overnight storms do damage to some communities

LAPEER, MICH (WNEM) -

Police say a short term power outage affected the majority of the City of Lapeer and surrounding area for a while Thursday.

The lights are back on after a fire at a sub-station was extinguished and crews fixed the station.

About 60 people still remain without power in Lapeer County due to last night's storms.
