A police pursuit that spanned two counties ended early Friday morning with a foot chase and an arrest.
The chase began around midnight on M-13 in Saginaw County, near the Zilwaukee Bridge.
WNEM TV5 reported the vehicle, driven by a man, was traveling north along M-13. It's not clear at this time what sparked the chase.
Witnesses told TV5 that several patrol cars, including Michigan State Police, were involved in the pursuit.
The driver eventually lost control of his vehicle and struck a tree along Broadway in Bay City, near Cass Avenue.
The suspect was taken into police custody following a foot chase.
